Stick&Bow, marimba & cello Percussionnist Krystina Marcoux and cellist Juan Sebastian Delgado join forces to explore, arrange and commission works that are both daring and accessible. Their unique instrumentation transforms the experience of listening to familiar works in unexpected ways, while the duo strives to expand its original repertoire through collaborations with composers and multidisciplinary artists. Winners of the audience award at the SAVVY Chamber Music Competition in 2017, they have since conceived and performed the show Bach&Forth, commissioned by the prestigious Lyon Biennale 2018, where they premiered Daniel’s Tango, written for them by renowned composer Marcelo Nisinman. Their musical engagements brought them from Banff to Colombia and across Armenia, Italy, the United States and France.
