Isabelle David, pianist

Isabelle David made her debut as a soloist with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal at age 17. She has since played with many orchestras in Canada, Switzerland, and Poland. 

She has received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Fondation Père Lindsay, and the Hnatyshyn Foundation, and has also won the Borromeo String Quartet Guest Artist Award (2016, United States), the Concours de Musique Hélène-Roberge (2012), and the CFMTA National Piano Competition (2009). 

She has participated in various festivals in North America and Europe, and also undertook a solo recital tour in Quebec in the context of the 2014-2015 Loto-Québec Entrées en scène. 

Isabelle holds a Master's from the New England Conservatory and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Montréal in the class of Jean Saulnier. She is the recipient of a JosephArmand Bombardier Graduate Scholarship from Canada Graduate Scholarships.
