This musical format, accredited to the Austrian composer Joseph Haydn, has now been a standard for string musicians worldwide. Yet only a handful of compositions are known universally by a name. Hear the Rolston String Quartet perform and introduce a program of quartet pieces, all more commonly known by their titles, for their performance in your community. Concert will include Haydn’s Apponyi, Beethoven’s Razumovsky, and some newer works where titles inspire the composition. A first look at the repertoire* J.
