In 2024, we will celebrate
the remarkable 75th year that Jeunesses Musicales Canada has
changed the cultural and musical landscape of Canada's regional
communities.
For 75 years, Jeunesses Musicales Canada has provided young musicians with
the resources and opportunities to develop their talents, nurture their
passions and pursue their dreams. Jeunesses Musicales Canada has helped
launch the careers of many nationally and internationally renowned musicians,
including Marie-Nicole Lemieux, Marc Hervieux, James Ehnes, Stéphane Tétrault
and Charles-Richard Hamelin, thanks in part to its Emerging Artists Concerts.
Jeunesses Musicales Canada also plays an essential role in promoting
musical education and appreciation among young people in Canada,
including children from disadvantaged backgrounds, to stimulate their
development through concerts and workshops created especially for them.
This year, the Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation needs your help to prepare
celebrations worthy of the 75th anniversary. We're planning special
events throughout the 2024-2025 season, including special concerts
and family events. We need your support to ensure the success of these
events so that they inspire young Canadian musicians for years to come.
