JÉRÉMIE PELLETIER (pianist)

French-Canadian pianist Jérémie Pelletier is renowned for his versatile and distinguished playing, equally at home with recital and operatic repertoire. Jérémie obtained his Master's degree from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal in 2006, where he studied interpretation with Suzanne Goyette, chamber music with André Laplante and vocal accompaniment with Louise-Andrée Baril. In September 2013, Jérémie began his Artist Diploma at McGill University, in Michael McMahon's class.
Jérémie was pianist accompanist for Jeunesses Musicales du Canada, from 2004 to 2006, for the Canadian tour of Die Fledermaus and Die Zauberflöte. He was also the pianist for Cosi fan Tutte, again for the same company, in 2012-2013.

Jérémie Pelletier works regularly as a pianist-rehearsalist, accompanist and vocal coach with several companies, including L'Opéra de Montréal and its Atelier lyrique, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, International Vocal Art Institute, (Virginia-Tel Aviv) Cowtown Opera Calgary, Highlands Opera Studio. Recently awarded a Canada Council grant, Jérémie Pelletier also received the Galaxie Radio grant in 2010. In April 2012, he recorded an album of French melodies with soprano Karine Boucher, on the Productions XXI-21 label.
