After winning top honors on last year's Révolution, Janie and Marcio have never stopped dancing, and now announce their first tour, Syntonie. With the body at the forefront, this work is produced in collaboration with seasoned artists including director Fréderic Bélanger. With Syntonie, audiences are treated to a 55-minute multidisciplinary show combining dance, light, video and music.
Poetic and dynamic, Syntonie explores the possible and desired state of harmony with feelings and the environment. Through its evocation of life's ups and downs, Syntonie is an invitation to reflect on and experience balance. This new creation is also a reflection on courage, the importance of others in times of trial, the transcendence of our limits and the realization of the unthinkable.
Two people meet, unite their common strengths and passions, and embark on a transformative artistic and human experience. More than a year ago, after going through each step of an exhilarating and demanding journey, they were crowned the big winners of Quebec's most popular televised dance competition. This story is also that of an unspeakable love between them and the public. Today, inspired by a rich reflection on the unifying power of dance, Janie and Marcio propose a creation inspired by this powerful connection between artist and spectator.
